I have always dreamed about travelling to Nepal. Being a single traveller I appreciated the help and support that the drivers and tour guides gave me in my journey to make this dream a reality. After living in Turkey for four years, and stuggling to learn Turkish, it was a relief to find out that both the driver and tour guide spoke excellant english. I grew to admire the driver's skill on mountain roads full of heavy truck traffic, and the amazing general knowledge of the tour guides. Some of the special memories that will always stay with me include hearing the sound of the buddhist mantra being played whilest viewing the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal, enjoying the peacefulness in the Lumbini Gardens and walking through villages early in the morning.
The view of Mt Everest eluded me for most of my trip but I was fortunate enough to catch a glimse of the famous mountain as the plane flew out of Katmandu. Now that I am back in Istanbul teaching young children, I share my special memories of Nepal with others through listening to the beautiful Nepalise music and looking at a picture book of Nepal. It was a great holiday and one not to be missed.
From the time I emailed them until we left they were always good about communicating. They tailored a trip to exactly what we wanted. They even contacted us after the trip to make sure that we were happy with how everything went.
The only hiccup was we went specifically during Holi week because we wanted the full immersion of the culture and on Holi day everything was closed so we paid for a day but did not really get to do much. But our driver/guide was Buddhist instead of Hindu so he took us around for a few hours and then we were on our own the rest of that day.
But otherwise Nepal was the most amazing experience ever and this tour company helped make it that way.
We were not expecting our 8 days trip to Nepal will be so memorable and enjoyable. .thanks to Roka who arranged everything for us. He was there in the airport to receive us. The hotels were excellent and comfortable. .we were on the roads most of the time.. but everything was well planned..elephants safari, river boat, paragliding, patan. ...the mountains flight...the shopping. . A big thank to our driver..who was an experience driver.. although the roads need alot of attention from the government but his driving was safe and not in hurry..he kept the van always clean and comfortable. .bless you..
Our guide in Kathmandu was very knowledgeable and a real gentleman, he was never in hurry..we learned so much about different faiths from him.. help us in doing wounderful shopping .bless you..and take care of your family.
I highly recommend friendship Nepal for your next trip to Nepal. .Roka we will be back in sha Allah..then you take us to base camp.
Thank you Nepal. ..thank you everyone. .keep it up.. lv u..
Thanks to Roka and his team, we had an AMAZING Nepal experience! Where do I begin to sing praises about this tour group? We visited Nepal for 13 days and wanted only to tour for 9. I contacted Friendship Nepal Tours and Roka worked diligently with me to meet my request. We had excellent accommodation and those that he did suggest, I checked on TripAdvisor and from that, requested that a couple of the hotels be changed, which he did. My husband was sick the second day of the tour (we had been so very, very careful!!) but Roka took it in stride and changed our plans around so hubby could rest. Our guide, Ramesh, for Kathmandu was extremely knowledgable of the legends, history and religious beliefs. Our driver was Mohan and was excellent. Many of the roads are in deplorable condition and driving is unlike anything I have ever experienced in all of my traveling days but I felt completely safe with Mohan at the wheel. Unfortunately, the last day of our trip, I fell and cut my head real badly. Ramesh and Mohan were so very helpful and attentive. We tried to send them home from the hospital as it was getting late but they insisted on staying. They were both a huge help and comfort....I was fine..needed two stitches and fortunately no concussion or broken bones! From Kathmandu, Mohan drove us to Chitwan Jungle area.
All arrangements for the hotel, meals and guide were arranged by Friendship Nepal Tours and our time there went smoothly. From Chitwan, Mohan drove us to Pokhara where an overnight hike to the Australian Camp had been arranged, as well as a tour of Pokhara. Our guide was Rams and again, he was top-notch. Rams helped arrange a helicopter tour to Annapurna Base camp, that proved to be the highlight of our trip. If you are looking for an A-1 tour group to help you explore Nepal, look no further...this is the one for you!
I have been to over 15 different countries, and let me tell you Nepal with Friendship Tours and Travels blew everything out of the water. This company is professional, reliable, and the service is excellent. Roka responded to my emails promptly and was very accommodating. He quickly and easily arranged a custom tour for me based on what I wanted to see. The driver, Bashu Poudel, was excellent. He is a very skilled driver. I really appreciate him taking me everywhere with safety as a priority. He is very kind, professional, and great company.
I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I was with him and how thankful I am that I had the opportunity to meet him and that he was my driver. The Kathmandu guide, Ramesh Koirala (Sasha), was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and honestly the best tour guide I have ever had. The tour guides in other sites were fantastic as well. Every hotel the company put me in was excellent, among the best I have ever stayed at with excellent service, staff, food, and cleanliness. Apsara Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu, Peaceful Cottage in Nagarkot, Buddha Maya Garden in Lumbini, and The Kantipur Hotel in Pokhara all were among the best hotels I have stayed at in the world.
I highly recommend this company!!!
Just returned from a 11 day private tour of Nepal, visiting Kathmandu, Nagarkot, Chitwan, Lumbini and Pokhara. The tour was very well organised, good communication and Roka was patiently waiting when we arrived at the airport despite us taking some 3 hours to get our visa.
I honestly cant think of much, if anything I would change. Perhaps being picky the hotel in Lumbini was not great, but to be honest I dont think there was much out there that was any better and certainly wasnt the fault of Friendship tours. Would not hesitate to book again.
My husband and I traveled to Nepal in April 2012 with "Friendship Nepal Tours and Travel". The trip was organized perfectly, from the rapid provision of information on the calculation of the tour till transfer to the airport. On our request we were given Russian-speaking guide - Naryana, who told us about Nepal in very interesting way and professionally showed sightseeings, and our driver was great. In the future, we will recommend the service of this company not only for travel to Nepal, but also to Bhutan and Tibet.
Please feel free to contact us. We will get back to you in 24hrs. Or direct contact at Cell: +9779851081841 (Whatsapp/Viber etc.) or Mail: email@example.com
